This morning THE GREEN TEAM and friends were delighted to welcome our Walking Bus with a small
Climate Action protest in solidarity with all the school groups who are protesting all over the country
today. We were very excited to see so many taking up the Scoot to School challenge!
At twelve noon the Green Team with Maeve, Carol, Anne and Patricia marched down to the lights at
Nutgrove Avenue. We were armed with large posters and a variety of noisy musical instruments
chanting at the top of our voices
What do we want? Climate Action! When do we want it? Now!
We were delighted with all of the cars and buses who beeped for us! We got a great reaction. We
repeated the same protest in the yard at lunchtime so all the children could join in.
