What a talented bunch of children, parents and staff we have in our school. The wonderful craft skills they have shown in the last couple of days are amazing. With help from parents, they have contributed some very fine gifts for our 3rd Annual RETNS Craft Fair. The Fair will be held on Sunday 1st December from 12:00 to 16:00 and promises to be a fun filled day for all attendees. On the day there will be face painting, cookie decorating, pull a candy cane from the snowman, children’s raffle (for a very cool hover-board among other prizes), adults raffle, bottle stall, crafts from our own children and staff as well as local crafts people selling their wares. So do come along on Sunday and no doubt you will find some wonderful gifts to treat someone special this Winter Season.

As examples of some of the items made by the children, Sixth class made some scrumptious Chocolate Biscuit Cake Christmas Puddings, Fifth Class have made Table Centrepieces, Third Class have hand packed Organic Dried Bay Leaves, they have also made Christmas wrapping paper, Corn starch Christmas ornaments, and some have knitted Christmas Trees! Second Class kids have made adorable Snowmen and hand packed lavender in bags. First Class planted hyacinth bulbs in glass jars with lovely jewelled accents. Fourth Class will be making their craft tomorrow and Senior Infants also made cute Reindeer. Have a look at some of the items for sale in our little gallery below.   Maeve
