A nature diary is a great way to do research. It helps us focus on the world around us. At the moment that world is limited to our homes and our neighbourhoods. But this does not limit us in any way! We can observe Spring into Summer. Trees going from bare to bud to flower and to green shoots and then leaves unfurling. Bees and insects of all kinds pollinating plants and in turn building up their stores of pollen. Birds building nests and singing their hearts out. All of the above can go in your nature diary. You can draw, take photos, record birdsong, press flowers, the list is endless, all it needs is your imagination and your dedication. On the left is a couple of pages of my observations so far.  As you can see, I like to take pictures, record sounds and videos. Una
