Travel and Global Citizenship Flag

The Green Team are delighted to announce that we have been awarded our 9th Green Flag for our work on Travel and Global Citizenship!

This represents more than 20 years of work as a Green School. We are extremely proud of this achievement and delighted to be part of this programme, run by An Taisce. Ireland is one of the 82 countries worldwide who participate in ECO schools programme – an incredible international community.

On Tuesday we were invited to the Helix at DCU to receive out Travel and Global Citizenship Flag. Our 6th class Green Team reps, Cayla and Juno were excellent ambassadors for our school and enjoyed their afternoon with Anne and Brian, our Green team coordinators

We look forward to a huge whole school celebration of our new Flag with our Day of Action, next Friday 30th May – The Big Travel Parade and Picnic. The Green Team invite children to bling their bikes, scooters or wear some fun festival clothes to help celebrate on the day! More information to follow!
