Senior Infants have been busy learning all about autumn. We have a nature table in our classroom displaying colourful leaves, prickly pine cones and even a bird’s nest! In art we learned about colour mixing when we made a lovely autumnal shade of orange. We used these as a background for our owl drawings. We also took a trip to Rathfarnham Castle woods with 2nd class where we went on a nature hunt as part of Tree Day. We learned to identify a few trees such as the oak, sycamore and ash.
