Following on from learning about the Homeless Crisis in Ireland we asked ourselves, what can we do? Children in 6th class came up with the idea of reaching out to one of the homeless charities in Dublin. Not the biggest one, but one that needs help.
We found People Helping Homeless who have an urgent appeal especially for snacks and toiletries for homeless people. They visit people on the street four days a week and they are all volunteers. After getting in touch with the charity we put together a collection that will go straight to those who need it most. Well done. Ronan
