Our 3rd Annual Craft Fair, which was held on Sunday, 3 December, was an outstanding success. Local crafters filled our Hall where we also had the Bottle Stall and raffle. Among the crafters were our own Phil and Clodagh with a knitted selection of gifts sold in aid of Focus Ireland. Attendees got to meet our Artist in Resident, Kathryn Maguire in her Studio. Parents sold crepes and hot-dogs in the Multipurpose Room along with Tea/Coffee, Drinks and Cakes ( contributed by our talented parents).
However, the highlight of our Fair was the Junior Infant Classroom with gifts made by our children and staff. These included both edible and garden gifts. Senior Infants was the venue for cookie decorating and face painting etc. with Second Class the home for Maureen’s Snowman Candycane game, Children’s Raffle and Children’s Spin and Win. The yard had candyfloss as well as sports challenges. Parents, staff, and children from 5th and 6th classes worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure all areas were staffed from 12:00 until 16:00. We were delighted to welcome past parents and staff as well as our local TDs, Ministers Shane Ross and Josepha Madigan.
Huge thanks go to our Development Committee and many volunteers for a fantastic event.
