Children in RETNS are taking part in the world’s largest ever lesson when they join schools all over the world to learn about the recently announced Global Goals for Sustainable Development, a set of goals for the world that aim to make our planet fair, healthy and sustainable by 2030. http://www.globalgoals.org/
Not only will the children learn about the goals, they will also consider how they might contribute to the achievement of these goals and how we can make a better world together.
To mark the occasion of the announcement of the Global Goals on September 25th, our sixth class presented an excellent, very informative assembly in which they illustrated, through word, art and song, how we can become global citizens and do our small part to make the world a better place.
In school, 3rd class have a very colourful display on how we can become ‘Heroes for Change’.
