We were delighted to have a visit to our school from well-known children’s author and illustrator, Chris Haughton, author of books such as Shhh! We Have a Plan (which won the AOI award for children’s books for 2014), Oh No George!, A Bit Lost and Goodnight Everyone!
Chris held two workshops in the school and had all the children enchanted by his story telling, his drawings and his tales of how his characters and books came to be. Chris brought his books alive for the children as they became fully involved as characters in the animated versions of the stories. Chris also did some of his famous drawings, which he has left for us.
