Our student Anti-Bullying Ambassadors team organised their first Action Day for this school year – a Partners’ Day, held on Friday, December 2nd. The aim of the day was to develop relationships among the children in the school and each class partnered with another class for at least one session of the day. Sixth Class helped Second Class to master  a symmetry activity in maths, while Fifth Class and First Class did art together. Fourth Class paired with Senior Infants for some maths games while Third Class helped Junior Infants to make their own book. The Partners’ Day sessions were very successful, with one hundred per cent engagement from all children. Many of the older children felt it was a great opportunity to get to know the younger children in the school, while children in the junior classes loved having help from the older children. All of the children displayed patience and kindness while working with each other and was a great example of an activity to develop wellbeing for all.
