On Tuesday we went on a school trip to Dublin Castle. We were taken around by a tour guide called Eva, who took us to see what was left of one of the walls of Dublin Castle and showed us part of the River Poddle which now flows underground. After that we went to a Cathedral which was massive and had an organ in it.

Then when we finished the tour of Dublin Castle and we went to Chester Beatty library where we got lunch from the Silk Road Cafe which is a cafe that Ben’s Dad owns and it was delicious.

We then got a tour of the Chester Beatty Library and we saw so many amazing things in the collection such as a three thousand year old scripture, a Qu’ran and a statue of Buddha.  We also saw a Chinese King’s poetry written onto a piece of jade.  There was so much to see that I will have to go back again. Overall I think the trip was great and thank you Carol.
