Today 5th and 6th class went on a school trip to Baldonnel aerodrome.
We all really enjoyed it. We left the school at 9:45 and arrived at 10:30ish.
Once we got off the bus we walked over to a little square and some of the army men brought some unloaded guns so we can see the sort of weapons that they use. The army men told us how they work. After we looked at the guns we went over to a little museum. On the way we walked past where they keep some of the planes and helicopters. The army man who was with us told us to take off any hats or scarves because they could make the helicopters explode. Once we got in to the mini museum we got to eat our lunch. After lunch we looked around the museum. There were lots of interesting things like army uniforms, planes, weapons, and lots of other cool thing. There was also a cockpit of a plane that we could get in and press the buttons, flick the switches and open the windows!!!!
After all that fun we went into a big hall and got to look at a few more planes . Once we’d seen all of the planes in there another army man came in with a bird, the bird’s name is Sami. The bird is a falcon. Sami makes sure that all other birds stay away from the planes and helicopters. Next he brought in two more birds, they are also part of the falconry at Baldonnel. One was called Rihanna and we got to hold her if we wanted to!!! After a very fun day we all got on the bus and went back to school.

That sounds class. I hope you hand an outstanding day . Some of my friends have been talking about this . I’d like to attend this but i dont think id have the time or patience to look at this , it is quite cool the way you had to take your hats and scarfs off in the invent that it might set the helicopter on fire! That sound class . Hope you had an outstanding day ! some of my friends have talked about that , Personally though I don’t have the time or patience . It is so peculiar the way that you were told that you had to take your hats off in the invent that helicopter might set on fire . What was the best and worst thing about the trip ?? If you had to go anywhere else apart from the place you attended where would you go . Thanks again for that SOPHIA NIC C
