In school we made learning logs. Learning logs are copies and every week we put in a new entry. Our entries are about things we have learned how to do in school such as an art project we did in school and sometimes they are about things we do at home such as learning how to juggle. You don’t have to do your entry in a certain way, you can display it however you like. Some people did pop outs or flaps. Now I will tell you about some of my entries.
One of my favourite entries is our class aquarium. At the start of the year we were thinking about dream classrooms and our teacher Carol said she would love to have an aquarium in the class and we all agreed so we transformed our blackboard into an aquarium. Everyone researched a type of fish and drew it. I made seven origami fish each one smaller than the last and coloured them in like a rainbow.
Another entry is our canopy which we made at the start of the year. We got pieces of string and put pieces of straws and paper etc. on them then we hung them up like a canopy so when you walked into our classroom it was going over your head.
This is about my first entry which is the carambola another name for star fruit at the start of the year we were learning about healthy eating and we all had to research an interesting fruit and mine was the carambola.
