Hello my name is Jennifer and in fifth class we’ve been doing Learning Logs. A Learning Log is a copy filled with information we’ve learned throughout the week and write down in our copy. Most Thursdays we would have Learning Log for homework. I’ve written about my three favourite Learning Log entries from throughout the year.
My first favourite Learning Log entry is about the DSPCA (The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).I wrote about this because on Tuesday November 4th fifth class went on a school trip to the DSPCA.I really enjoyed it especially since I love going there and seeing all the animals. It was a lot more fun going with my class because we got a talk on the animals and a tour of the place.
My second favourite Learning Log is about The History of Technology. I wrote about this because I found it quite interesting. Learning about how different technology was back when it was first made. I didn’t know that technology existed that long ago and who made them. It’s amazing how much technology has evolved since then.
My third favourite Learning Log is about The History of the Famine. I wrote about this because it was interesting. We had already learnt about it before but I found out all lot of new facts. It was unbelievable the kind of things that’s happened to them some having to go to a workhouse and never seeing your family again. But after getting through the sad and tragic parts it’s really interesting.
