Ben’s Learning log
Over the past year my class and I have been doing something called a learning log. A learning log is when you write what you have learned and keep a memory and record of 5th class. We had written since the start of the year nearly every Thursday and we could do extra if we want there was no limit if your copy got full you could make a new one. In this blog I will be telling you about three of my favourite things in my learning log:
CLAY HEADS
One of the ones I really enjoyed was the clay heads my first clay head was a bit too hard to make so I changed it to a man with a huge moustache he looked a bit like the monopoly man. We made them with tools and we did it in class. We did it with a woman named Clare who only taught us for a few weeks. Our clay heads had to be a head and be alive. I had lots of fun and I am sure other people did too.
SALSA
I also really enjoyed learning salsa for the winter feast. My class and 6th class did a play together and the theme was diversity. We chose to do a dance competition for our play and we got choose what dance we were doing. The biggest group was salsa. It was to do with diversity so we thought it would be a good idea to be partnered up with the opposite class. It was great fun to learn it
NEPAL PROJECT
Another really fun thing I enjoyed was the Nepal project. In the Nepal project we all got in our groups and we planned how we wanted our project laid out. After that we went up to Carol and told her how a3 pieces of paper we needed and what colour. In our group we each got five subjects that we had to get facts on and at the end Carol decided who got homework passes
AND THAT IS MY LEARNING LOG.
