On Thursday 24^th of November 5^th and 6^th class held a super science fair. We spent the whole day showing of our science experiments.  5^th class got no homework whilst 6^th class got choice homework afterwards.

There were so many cool science experiments that day; there were around 25 experiments between 5^th and 6^th.

We had two weeks’ notice to prepare our very own scientific projects. Every class in the school had a chance to visit our experiments even the parents. We learnt all about the wonders of science on that very fabulous day. Hans’s and my experiment was how cats and dogs react to different foods. We used our own cats and dogs, don’t worry.

Some of the interactive experiments were…

Sam, Utmarn and Dennison made a cool oobleck experiment. Oobleck turns to a solid when you punch it, and then turns to a liquid when you put your hand in it gently! Diarmuid and Evan did a coke and Mentos explosion experiment. 6^th class went to Notre Dame Science fair for inspiration. See some photos from the day below!
