MY LEARNING LOG
This year, every Thursday, we had to write about something that we learned and enjoyed over the week in our Learning Log. We can add pictures from the Internet, draw our own pictures and make pop-ups. I really like doing our learning logs and I think it’s a great idea.
These are my three favourite topics I did in my Learning Log:
3: “Poems Rule”, that week we were learning about poets and their poems. In my learning log, I wrote my favourite poem and drew a picture. My favourite poem is called Silly Poem by Spike Milligan, here is the poem: “Said Hamlet to Ophelia I’ll draw a sketch of thee what kind of pencil shall I use 2B or not 2B.”
2: “Architecture and Materials”, architecture is something I would really like to do when I grow up. We learned about different materials that you can build a house or building with, such as wood, bricks, glass and concrete. In my learning log I designed a house. I wrote down some materials that are needed to build a house and wrote a little bit about what we did in school.
1: “Nepal”, Nepal is one of the countries we learnt about this year. We started learning about because Just One came to visit our school. Just One is an organisation that helps children in Nepal with no homes. We then were split into groups and we researched about Nepal. In my learning log, I wrote about Just One and I made pop-ups. This was my favourite topic that I wrote about in my learning log because I really liked the pop-ups.
