Mary Carron following a public competition, replaced Sinéad as Principal from October 7th 2013 last. Mary is a senior member of staff at R.E.T.N.S. and has served on the staff here since 2001. Prior to that, Mary served for almost 20 years as a class teacher in St. Naile’s school in Kinawley, Co. Fermanagh. Since 2005, Mary has worked in our Special Needs team in R.E.T.N.S. and, over the last eight years, has also held a position of special responsibility for I.C.T.
This is an exciting time for the school. The Board of Management is currently working to deliver key elements of the school’s development plan, and this work will continue over the next number of years. The school is very highly regarded, well-resourced and boasts the greatest assets of all: – incredible staff, pupils and their families.
That the staff, pupils, parents and guardians all work so closely together in all aspects of the school’s life is central to ethos and the successful running of the school.
