This is a significant year for Educate Together, the 40
th anniversary of its founding. The annual fundraising event, One Day Together 2018, will be held on Friday, 26 October. As is our tradition, the children and staff will dress in Hallowe’en costumes on that day.
As parents, you will be aware of the fundraising we need to do for our own school. However, this fundraising is for Educate Together and enables the Educate Together movement to:
- Continue to develop the Learn Together & Ethical Education curriculums
- Open new schools so that other families can experience our equality-based ethos
- Advocate for equality in education
For every €1 received:
- 55c is spent on managing and supporting schools including our own
- 40 c is spent on opening new schools
- 5c is spent on funding and administration
The suggested contribution for participation in our Hallowe’en parade is €2 which can be given to your child’s teacher. You can also donate to Educate Together on
