The boys and girls of RETNS enjoyed a wonderful day at the annual Santry athletics competition. For the first time ever the school won a relay race meaning we’ve taken home a very impressive cup which will be ours for the year. The winning team consisted of Lily, Molly, Ruby and Eve from 3rd class as well as substitute Siofra from 4th class. They won in the Under 10s Girls category. The rest of the teams performed extremely well: out of the 8 teams, 4 of them qualified for the final with some of them coming very close to securing a podium finish. Off the track the children were a credit to their school with excellent behaviour throughout the day.
