We were unable to have a sponsored walk this year but as announced at assembly last week, children were not given work for Friday, Instead they were encouraged to go out and walk as a family. RETNS had an opportunity to come together while staying apart. Family pets were encouraged as were teddies.
Friday turned out to be a very blustery day with a yellow warning in place which made it a rather exciting time to be out exercising! I will include below photos and videos of children, parents and staff out and about on our Alternative Sponsored Walk day. Maeve

We saw lots of different wildlife on Friday.
Amber from 3rd Class took the opportunity on Alternative Sponsored Walk day to take pictures of the wild fowl in Lakelands Park Terenure.
Anna was lucky to be able to walk near the sea (within her 5 km limit). These girls got to walk near some lovely flowering trees.
