Welcome to the RETNS Kids’ Newsletter! Earlier this term, the Student Council came up with the idea of publishing a regular kids’ newsletter. We went around to all of the classes and got some great suggestions from you all about the type of things that you want to read about, and we really hope that you enjoy our first edition!

Every term, we will be bringing you the latest news, fun and entertainment from around the school! If you have any jokes, recipes, puzzles or artwork that you would like to be included in our next edition, please give it to your class Student Council representative. Enjoy the jokes, recipes, movie recommendations and Art!

Halloween Dress Up Day!

Halloween Dress Up Day!

There was lots of fun and spooky shenanigans in the school today as all the boys and girls (and the staff) took part in our annual Halloween Dress Up Day. It’s always great to see the effort put in by the children and their parents and guardians. Once again the Student Council had the tough job of judging the best dressed staff member and after some tough deliberations they decided that our caretaker Dennis as a viking deserved the top award. He was closely followed by Maureen (Cruella DeVil), Anna Huggard (Wally from ‘Where’s Wally?) and Mary Carron as Mary Poppins. Well done to everyone and enjoy the midterm break.

Cake, Craft and Book Fair

Cake, Craft and Book Fair

Dear Parents/Guardians
We had an amazing turn out at the cake, craft and book fair.  Thank you to all the parents who helped bake, make and buy for Gua, Africa and the Jack and Jill foundation.  We made €1000 on the day.
We would like you to collect all your tins from the front porch of the school today.
Thank you
