1st learn to play Hurling with Norah & the GAA

“I like doing Hurling with Norah on Tuesdays because it is very fun” said Ellen. “I like Hurling because its cool and you get to do shots and we play good games and have fun together” said Uthman.  “It’s a good chance to get out and have lots of fun with your friends in the air” said Ellen. “You have to wear your runners and helmets and you need a hurling stick, Norah has them all, she is really nice for doing it with us” said Uthman. With Hurling you can play lots of games like Sly Fox and Snatch the Bacon” said Ellen. “We played games and we had numbers and if Norah called the numbers you have to run and get the ball and hit it in the right goal and not hit anybody” said Uthman. “You are not allowed hold your hurley past your waist” said Ellen. “I’m good at hurling and really good at football as well” said Uthman. “Hurling is more skilled than football because you use your hands as well as your feet” said Ellen.
